Julie is a mother of 3 with an educational background as a Registered Early Childhood Educator as well as having a combined bachelors degree in Psychology and Child Studies. Julie operated a private child care centre for 8 years before following her passion for Montessori education and returning to school to receive her Early Childhood Montessori Diploma followed by the Infant Toddler Montessori Diploma.

Julie's career path has found her guiding and leading in Montessori schools for many years before becoming a Master Teacher Trainer in Early Childhood (3 to 6 years of age) and Infant Toddler (birth to 3 years of age) Montessori education. Julie herself was instrumental in the creation of the current Infant Toddler curriculum being used at the Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute where Julie leads training on weekends. Julie's greatest joy is caring for, learning and growing with our youngest members of society. She absolutely agrees with her mentor, Dr. Maria Montessori -

'The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind'
